I have one book published and it is called The Stock Dam Philosophies. It is not a book on philosophy at all, rather it is a collection of short stories that I first published on my original web site. You will find a copy of a letter that my dog wrote to me; tales of memories of my younger days; reflections on people who were once part of my life and then just some stories of my time at "the farm". In it, you will get to know me a little better and in so doing, realize that we are all the same in some ways, and if you like dogs, hunting and just being outdoors doing nothing, you will like this book. It is available on-line or you can go to a bookstore. It is a fun, easy read, so I hope you like it.

My second book is all together different. It is called, One-The Book.Two years ago I lost my wife to pancreatic cancer. I maintained a journal from the day she was diagnosed until her death. Then, for the next one year, I wrote about things that happened to me as I tried to put my life back together. It is not a self-help book, or a grief counciling text, rather it is meant to be a means of showing that we all go through some of the same things as we try and survive such a tragic loss, and if you read my account, it may help you realize that the thoughts you are having or experiences you have, are not that unusual, and you are probably ok. This book has a different ending that what you would expect, and it is even different that what I would have expected when I sat down and started on it. It is now available in both hardcover and paper back. Ask for it at your local book store.
